DistiSync is an innovative, best-in-class SaaS solution enabling manufacturers to easily manage and communicate their product data to distribution channel partners. It was originally custom-built to the operational requirements of a multi-national power supply manufacturer, to eradicate specific pain points in that organization’s product management processes.

The pricing management tool at the core of DistiSync is unique in the way it solves pricing management, review, audit and communication issues which exist across the electronics industry and beyond. And that’s what makes DistiSync such a compelling suite of tools for any manufacturer selling a significant range of SKUs via the distribution partner ecosystem.

How DistiSync came to be

We’re occasionally told that certain processes can’t be improved by creating custom software solutions. It can be difficult for large organizations even to admit that they have ‘problems’ with their process, but we believe that if such problems can be sufficiently well-defined, they can be solved. We were told “it can’t be done”. We were told, “okay, well here’s the problem, and here’s the data, but you won’t be able to make this complex process simpler with software”.

And so we did.

A proof of concept was created for a secure, auditable, closed loop review and approvals process to replace the management of pricing data on spreadsheets. A production version followed, along with a suite of other tools which streamlined all aspects of product data management. All built in the real world, in response to a clear, informed understanding of the challenges; battle-tested for over a decade and iteratively improved to result in the DistiSync product we have today.
